Bonnie Shershow has found her calling in jam making. She goes as far as to say that the process of preparing and cooking jam is "meditative, even sensual." She discovered her passion almost a decade ago, after the end of a love affair. Eventually she found her true love in preparing high quality jams. Bonnie grew up eating sweet, tree ripened peaches, oranges, and guavas which were grown in her family's orchard in Southern California. When she realized that "fruit no longer has that sensual bite that makes your whole body quiver," she made it her mission to rekindle our lust for fruit.

Bonnie selects the most fragrant and freshest produce that will yield the intense taste that has become her signature. She has a magic way with preserves, always ensuring that the brilliance and essence of the fruit shines through. She prepares her concoctions in traditional copper pans without any pectin and half the sugar of commercial jams. These are sure to become a family favorite after the first spoonful. 248g/8.75 oz

Bonnie Shershow's hand-made jams, jellies & preserves are made from original recipes inspired by the fruits of the season. The most fragrant and freshest fruits gathered around New England are the basis for the intense taste that makes the jams truly remarkable. And to ensure that each jam reflects the true flavor of the fruit - Bonnie uses no pectin and half the sugar of commercial jams.

Dedicated to only using produce grown in the U.S., and working with suppliers and local farmers to secure the best fruit seasonally available, Bonnie prepares the preserves, marmalades and jams in small batches - simmering and stirring each batch until just the right flavor and consistency are reached. Bonnie's Jams supports local farmers with contributions to CISA - Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture.

Bonnie loves the sensuousness of fruits - their color, texture, fragrance, feel and taste. She also loves the process of washing, cutting, peeling and pitting that goes on in the preparation of the final product. She makes the preserves in old-fashioned copper jamming pans with recipes that are always inspired by the fruits themselves.
